After looking for new Italian restaurants to try in our local area we stumbled upon Da Vinci’s which is a little further for us to travel but we decided to try it.
And I’m glad we did.
On arrival we were taken upstairs to the restaurant and there are quite a few steps so beware if your in heels or find stairs difficult.
When we were shown our table to be honest we weren’t impressed.
The decor reminded me of a social club. There were children running around with a few family parties eating in the restaurant and it was quite noisy. But ....
The food is lovely. The staff are lovely and it did quieten down once the children left after 8pm.
If sharing a restaurant with children and parties of over 8 are not your thing and you like quiet intimate places I would give this restaurant a miss.
If your quite happy with a livelier atmosphere and are there for food give them a try.
You can see the chefs cooking in the corner which is nice.
My main course of lamb was absolutely delicious and it was accompanied with plenty of fresh vegetables and potatoes. The dessert was also delicious.
The staff are friendly and appropriate and weren’t hovering but were also attentive at the same time.
All in all a lovely evening and we will be returning.

Excellent service as always; lovely high quality fresh food too. I stayed with my old favourites, a main course of beef lasagne and profiteroles for desert, but next time I`m definitely going to be trying the camembert with cranberries for a starter instead. It all looks so tempting that it is hard to choose.

Long flight stairs up to restaurant, with toilets downstairs. Service attentive with welcoming staff. We had to wait awhile for main courses, though they were busy with other large booking. Food good & average. I had the pollo cacciatore, the sauce with the chicken had not much flavour. We could had done with more vegetables which we had to share. The derserts were had a good selection and tasted really good. The room was very cold, many of us in our party had to wear our coats.

Went Christmas day and it was great. I had lobster and it was fantastic. Would highly recommend to both couples and families.

Always liked this restaurant. Food is good, prices are reasonable and service great. Got two little ones and they're happy to split a main between them. High chairs available. Changing facilities limited but there. What more can I say. It's my go to restaurant.

I regularly visit this restaurant with my friends always fantastic fresh food cooked by the chef Marco. A little gem of a restaurant in Coalville at very reasonable prices. Highly recommended.

Went for Christmas day meal and it was lovely. Booked for 4.00 but was extremely busy so had to wait till 4.50. It wasn't the staffs fault as they were working their socks off as they say. The staff were so friendly and helpful. Once we sat down service was excellent and meal wonderful and plentyful. The turkey was nice and juicy and cut nice and thick. Couldn't fault it. Thank you to all of you for a lovely time. Have been there for several Sunday meals and always enjoyed our time there. A lovely atmosphere. Happy New Year and thank you to all the staff.

Went for a pre-Christmas family get together, have been here before and was good last time, but even better this time.
Went for the fixed menu of the day at £16.95, plenty of choice, 3 courses and includes a bottle of wine per couple.
Excellent value, well presented and really good, would recommend to anyone who likes Italian food.

Visited for a birthday meal. It is a large flight of stairs so if a guest finds it difficult to use stairs be aware. Food was ok and cheap, didn’t feel like I was in Italy!

I went here today with my friend, for the first time in ages. The waiter was pleasant and welcoming as always and I was impressed that he went out of his way to provide a variation of a dish to accommodate my friend`s dietary requirements. The food was delicious, plentiful and excellent value.
Their profiteroles are to die for even if they are bad for the waistline. I will definitely be visiting there again soon.

Called in here today, late afternoon when many restaurants not open. Good choice, excellent food 4 different meals, glass or two of wine, professional prompt attentive service. Will be back, Please give it a try you won’t be dissapointed..
