Play Pit to the rescue

I have got to look after the kids for two hours today and I also need to spend a couple of hours on the laptop generaly catching up with e-mails, letters to write etc etc. You Know, all the stuff that becomes urgent if you don't get it done and then you are up until midnight or worse.

I know that some of you are in the same boat as me with the school hols and having to step in and watch the kids and do your bit, after all it's only fair that your better half can have some down time from the turmoil (in our house anyway).

Right now I can see Lewy standing on the climbing frame which is 6 feet high and he is 2 years old. Katy is trying to play on her 'DS' on the patio and Isla is squirting her with a water pistol. And all this before 9am!!

So...... my plan is 2 hours at the Play Pit where I can use their free broad band and catch up on all my work whilst the kids knock themselves out climmbing, swinging, sliding.

A perfect solution!!

A big jug of pop to keep them re-fueled and a cup of great coffee for me.

Happy because the Play Pit is spotless and they won the Telford and Wrekin council 5 star award for cleanliness and hygeine

AND - I can feel good about giving the kids a good time and not feel guilty because I am not working.
