As the 2 minutes of Silence falls across the Nation, Casey's too shall be joining in the silence to remember those who fought and those who have fallen.
But Casey's is holding it's very own tribute on Rememberance Sunday, with a incredible Wartime Cabaret Show from our In-House Cabaret Team, 2 Course Meal and a glass of Port to wash it all down.
Our team will be busy preparing for such an event all week to make sure that the show and all of the evenings content is pulled off to a high quality!
Only the best for our Veterans!
For now we leave you with this:
IN FLANDERS FIELDS
In Flanders' fields the poppies blow
Between the crosses, row on row,
That mark our place: and in the sky
The larks, still bravely singing, fly
Scarce heard amid the guns below.
We are the dead. Short days ago
We lived, felt dawn, saw sunset glow,
Loved and were loved, and now we lie
In Flanders' fields.
Take up our quarrel with the foe;
To you from failing hands we throw
The torch; be yours to hold it high,
If ye break faith with us who die
We shall not sleep, though poppies grow
In Flanders' Fields.
