Tone FM is a Taunton based local community radio station on 107.8FM broadcasting to Taunton and the surrounding areas. Not yet on DAB but you can listen to them on 107.8FM or through their website by clicking the Listen Now button or by downloading their Tone FM app from the Google Play Store or the Apple App Store.
Run by community volunteers rather than full time staff, they are committed to working hard to provide full time coverage as much as possible, juggling work and home to bring you programmes with a diverse range of music and fun.
This sometimes means that when there is a breaking news story, or some urgent travel news which needs to be shared, they may not be in a position to broadcast the information immediately as the building is not permanently manned.
With over 26 resident presenters broadcasting from Tone FM you are sure to be able to find something you like! If you are a nightworker, through the night they have non stop music for you until the Breakfast Show with Patch Jobson starts at 7am. This is followed by a mix of music and community programming throughout the day.
As a community radio station, Tone FM are able to be out and about in the local area for all our local events and celebrations too, you will often find them at Fairs, Fun Days and Taunton Carnival to name but a few.
