Quite possibly one of the finest golf courses in the area. I first played Oake Manor back in June 2018. The condition of the course was simply outstanding. The lush green fairways truly reminded myself and my playing partner of what Augusta National would look like in real life. Fantastic layout, many quality holes and a challenge for both beginner and advanced player. Clubhouse staff were very welcoming and friendly. The guys in the pro shop very easy to deal with. I can not recommended it enough!!! Fantastic value for money after 3pm during the summer months. Genuinely a pleasure to play golf here.

Very good carvery. Lots of selection of veg and very well cooked meat. Even crackling with the pork! Excellent gravy. Staff very helpful and accommodating. Some veg was over cooked but overall very good.

Nice place for a function, food was very nice. Drinks reasonable for a club (£4 a pint). Just beware its in the middle of nowhere. Taxi fare from Taunton Travelodge is £35 one way.

Lovely place, great tribute acts but their vegetarian choice for tribute night meals is wanting! Meat eaters have 4 choices ( 3 meat + the 1 veggie). We veggies only get one choice and if you don’t like it- hard luck! It’s a shame because there are lots of vegetarians now, if the excuse for one choice is wastage, well actually there is also waste with the meat meals! Surely we could have 2 choices, I don’t expect the same as carnivores but just one choice is discrimination really. All other establishments I go to for meals have more than one choice! I would have given 5 stars but for this problem.
