Only here for a few hours but I was impressed.
It looks small from the outside... so its Much bigger when you get in. Very well laid out.

Plus a nice Caffè in and out seating... clean rest rooms... and its free entry. ...

Interesting facts about somerset. Very knowledgeable guides. Reanacting old times was great for children and adults. Dressing up. Nice place to eat if needed

Interesting local museum set in the old castle grounds. Temporary exhibitions are regularly changed. Children's activities during school holidays.

Good well presented exhibits. They have some excellent temporary exhibits throughout the year as well. Free entry. We often pop in for a quick visit if we are in town.

Tremendous museum. Lots of great kids events as well, which are sometimes strictly limited in number of places, so they don't get too crazy! :) Great exhibits. We go once a week, and never get bored. Easy to donate, without any pressure. They do host private events as well.
