Vaughn is an excellent teacher, easy to talk to and approachable. He could change his style of teaching to suit my situation; I was very nervous to begin with but he increased my confidence in driving ten fold.
One of the most valuable things were the discussions we had about what driving will be like once I've passed, how to deal with new situations I've never encountered in my lessons or how to deal with different types of drivers on the road etc. I've found this to be a massive help since passing.
I passed first time with no faults and I know this wouldn't have happened with Vaughn's help - Thank you! You were worth every penny!

Truly brilliant driving instructor. He was able to judge my ability and tailored my lessons to suit. His teaching style helped build my confidence and he’ll keep trying different approaches until you have your “lightbulb” moment, and everything falls into place. I passed my test first time and although he’d probably say it was me that did it all, it wouldn’t of been possible without his brilliant lessons. Post test-passing, he also took me for a motorway lesson which I genuinely advise all new drivers to do.

Top instructor! Top guy. Not a money grabber. Not at all patronising. Made me feel comfortable and confident. Just passed my test after 7 hours with him. Highly highly recommended.

After attempting for some 2 hours with my daughter to finesses the basic start stop procedure I decided that we needed some professional help.
Learn with Vern was recommended to me.
To help me teach my daughter to drive we booked 1 lesson were I accompanied them and sat in the back of the car. to
I found Vern clear articulate and reassuring. My Daughter responded quickly and confidently to his direction and also to the recap and evaluation of the driving events and procedures.. Ruby suffers from ADHD so the teaching was method perfect. Vern has a lovely air of warm professionalism and I was surprised at the progress Ruby achieved after just 2 hours.
As a result of the quality of instruction, Ruby (and myself) become confident enough to progress to practicing on a real road. We will keep practicing but we have decided to Learn (properly) with Vern this summer in a new intensive 40 hour(ish) intensive course.

Excellent driving instructor, made me not only pass my test but also made of me a good safe driver for life! He taught me skills that only very few professional safe drivers know. He is very down to earth and one of the nicest friendly, people I've met, couldnt have wished for a better instructor! With my anxiety issues he helped me to gain expertise not only in safe driving but also in controlling my own nerves and maintaining PMA. I passed my practical driving test for the first time and, it was no luck it was guaranteed by my instructor. Trust him when he says you are ready he is always right. Well recommended
