This place has the potential to be amazing with the restaurant being in a old pipe factory/methodist church. The breakfast took ages to come out and was a little lacking for the price. We tried it as it has a great reputation locally but was left a little disappointed. The service was great, very friendly, helpful and attentive and the Chef even came out of the kitchen to discuss my dietary needs.

Cute coffee and breakfast spot with great food and a real local community flare. It's in an old church and has tons of character. Jenny came out to chat with us and gave us the lowdown on the surrounding area and even the backstory of the resident ghost. On top of that our English breakfast was massive for what we paid and our flat whites were delicious. What more can you ask for?

First time here for a steak night. Super price and a great building. However service wasn't great as not welcomed on arrival. Drinks came quickly and order taken quickly too. However, one steak was cooked incorrectly to order. This was replaced immediately but by the time it was recooked, I had eaten most of the rest of the meal so it was just a slab of meat on the plate. Had someone come to check if the meals were OK, this could have been resolved quicker. Chef came out herself to check after 2nd steak came out, which was cooked perfectly.
Came to pay and stood at the bar for 5 minutes before anyone came out. 5 staff put the back, no one attending the front.
Lovely venue, huge potential, just a little rough around the edges and in need of some care and staff training on service.

Nice little find the morning after!
Cracking breakfast L/S with b/pudding, they’ve obviously listened to previous customers because the sausage was good quality and cooked well. Owner Jenny was in the galley and fid a good job with breakfast. They do a nice coffee, none of that costa rubbish and had an art exhibition going on (not sure if its an occasional or permanent thing). Its unassuming from the outside but inside its light, high, airy and nicely decorated. Theres upstairs seating where you can sit and watch the paupers over the the w’spoon opposite ;-).
And the icing on the sausage roll, it’s dog friendly.

We drop in from time to time for a hot lovely coffee and breakfast.
But now they are treating us to sunday morning pancakes with either bacon with maple syrup or fruit with yogurt. Both we had freshly made hot with sweet syrup with salty bacon that went down a treat for me.
I'll definitely be going back for seconds soon
Thanks guys

Really impressed with my visit here, the atmosphere is lovely, the service was really fast and pleasant and the food was fantastic. Almost all local produce and at a reasonable price. I ordered a small breakfast and a mocha with oat milk. Non dairy options are available for both drinks and butter and at no extra charge. The coffee is great but my breakfast was easily the highlight! All cooked perfectly and the quality was top tier.

The other food my family ordered was perfect as well.

I highly reccomend this spot if you haven't tried it yet.

The home made cake in here is simply delicious. Generous serving with a dollop of thick cream if you are feeling indulgent. Housed in an old building (chapel) Jenny is friendly as can be and her coffees are also super! ( we scoffed the cake before I remembered to take a pic!)

The loveliest place. So spacious. Staff couldn’t have been more accommodating to me, mum and my pug, Frank. The food was absolutely delicious - highly recommend the steak baguette meal. All cooked to perfection. Can’t believe it’s taken me two months since I moved here to find this place! Can’t wait to go back. I couldn’t rate it more highly! Thanks for having us!

The sausages were rubbish, which was the only thing that spoiled the breakfast they needed to get a better quality sausage. Otherwise, no fault. And the tea wasn't very hot

My elderly Mum and I enjoyed a lovely soup lunch at Jenny’s today. Warm plates with warm roll and a delicious tomato and pepper soup followed by a tasty cup cake which Mum and I shared. The venue was very clean and tidy. Tables nicely spaced out. Prices very competitive and fair. A proper family establishment which has a really nice atmosphere. Well done Jenny. We will be back.
