Taking place at midday on 13 October, the free to attend webinar is organised as part of the Cybersecurity Awareness Month and will focus on understanding ransomware, phishing, and deepfake enabled fraud.
The expert panel will include UKGI Group’s AI and automation lead Robin Knowles , CFC’s cyber development manager Tyne Hill, and CyberCrowd’s senior security consultant Nigel Plant.
It will be hosted by Simon Hall, client executive at Adler Fairways.
The webinar will also examine how the EU AI Act could affect UK businesses using AI systems in the EU, why SMEs are attractive targets for cyber criminals, and practical ways to strengthen cyber resilience and reduce risk.
Another key talking point will be cyber insurance where panellists will explain what happens if a business experiences a cyber incident and how to minimise disruption.
Speaking about the event, Robin Knowles said: “Almost every business now relies on technology in some form, this means that cyber risks and AI are no longer just IT issues but wider business issues.
“This webinar is to give business leaders a practical understanding of the risks, opportunities and how they can protect their people, data and operations and helping understand where cyber insurance fits into the picture.”
