The 2026 programme will see beach audits take place in Salcombe, Bournemouth, Croyde, and Cromer, with additional locations across Europe to be announced soon.
The Plastic Free Sea Beach Audits bring together local communities, businesses, environmental groups, and volunteers to collect and analyse data on plastic waste found along coastlines.
This data supports environmental reporting, informs long-term solutions, and drives meaningful action to reduce plastic entering our seas.
ServiceGRN is a Warwickshire-based IT services company, providing international onsite engineering and emergency support for datacentres, servers, data storage, networks, and retail point-of-sale systems for a wide range of local and international organisations.
Marine conservation forms a core part of ServiceGRN’s purpose. Through the Plastic Free Sea campaign, the company actively engages its clients, staff, and partners to participate in beach audits and environmental action, including the use of corporate volunteer days to support hands-on conservation efforts.
Founder Darrell Arnold said: “Marine plastic pollution is a shared challenge that requires collective action.
“By combining our international reach with local action, we aim to empower businesses and communities to play a direct role in protecting our seas, network with other like-minded people and have some fun while we’re doing it”
Each event will involve structured waste audits, educational engagement, and collaboration with stakeholders, reinforcing ServiceGRN’s commitment to environmental responsibility alongside its technical services.
ServiceGRN has welcomed further interest from organisations, partners, and volunteers looking to participate in existing events or host future audits as the programme expands across Europe.
