Jerroms Miller Specialist Tax has announced a landmark episode of The Tax Hour Podcast, tackling one of the most hotly debated topics in modern fiscal policy: the introduction of a UK wealth tax.

Hosted by Nick Wright, head of Corporate Tax, Jerroms Miller Specialist Tax, this episode brings together two of the most respected and influential voices in UK tax law, Dan Neidle and Emma Chamberlain, for a thought-provoking and timely discussion.

Dan Neidle, a leading figure in tax law and investigative journalism, is known for his incisive commentary and award-winning work uncovering tax policy flaws. After 23 years at Clifford Chance, where he served as UK head of Tax, Dan founded Tax Policy Associates to improve public understanding and reform UK tax policy. His investigative work earned him the prestigious “Investigation of the Year” at the British Journalism Awards 2023.

Emma Chamberlain OBE is one of the UK’s foremost experts in private client taxation, with deep expertise in inheritance tax, capital gains tax, and trust law. A co-author of the 2020 Wealth Tax Commission report, Emma is also a Visiting Professor of Law at Oxford University and the LSE. Her latest textbook, Trust Taxation & Estate Planning (5th Edition), was published in May 2024.

Nick Wright brings a wealth of experience in supporting accountants, tax advisers, solicitors and their clients. Nick is a regular contributor to the leading Tax journals, sharing his expertise with the broader professional community and presenting regular lectures to fellow professionals through various CPD providers.
