Elodie Bains, a student at Razzamataz Sutton Coldfield, landed the role following extensive rounds of auditions, before travelling to Lapland to film the festive feature.

Elodie plays the daughter of the family at the centre of the film, with Khan playing the father.

‘Stuffed’ is currently available on BBC iPlayer.

Elodie has trained in acting, singing and dancing since the age of six at Razzamataz Sutton Coldfield, the local theatre school.

Nick Furlong, joint owner of Razzamataz Sutton Coldfield, said: “We are beyond proud of each of our students, for every achievement they make, week in, week out, and this achievement of Elodie's is a perfect example of one that not only demonstrates outstanding skill and talent in acting, but most importantly to us, the vital qualities of humility, respect and hard work.

“Elodie has shown so much hard work, dedication and loyalty over the years to get to where she is, and most wonderfully, has never acted as though she is any different to anyone else, stays humble and grounded, not looking to make a scene.”

The achievement follows other recent professional credits from the award-winning theatre school.

Fellow student Ellis Leonce recently spent an entire season performing the role of young Cyrano in ‘Cyrano de Bergerac’ with the Royal Shakespeare Company at its home in Stratford-upon-Avon, performing alongside actor Adrian Lester.

Razzamataz Sutton Coldfield offers dance, drama and singing classes for children and young people aged two to 18.
