He will also take on the role of chair of the organisation’s Finance, Audit & Risk Committee.

A chartered accountant, Rob qualified in London in 2005 through an audit training contract before moving into corporate restructuring. Since 2011, he has worked in privately owned property development across the Midlands.

"His extensive financial expertise and commercial experience will be a real asset to the organisation, particularly in his role as chair of the Finance, Audit & Risk Committee, where his skills and insight will greatly benefit the group’s important work.

"We are excited to have him on board and look forward to working with him.”

Rob Bayliss said: “I'm delighted to be joining Sport 4 Life UK as a Trustee and Chair of the Finance Audit & Risk Committee.

"The organisation does fantastic work supporting young people, and I’m excited to play a part in its continued development.

"I hope to bring my financial and commercial experience to the role, while also adding value through my wider network and helping to support new opportunities as the charity continues to grow its impact.”

Based in Jewellery Quarter, Birmingham, Sport 4 Life UK supports more than 3,500 under-resourced young people aged 11 to 29 across the West Midlands each year through sport-themed employability, mentoring and personal development programmes.
