The shortlist reflected a thoughtful variety of perspectives on local life, heritage, and scenery in Sutton Coldfield.
Every eligible entry was reviewed against the competition’s judging criteria, and a final shortlist was put forward to the Mayor of the Royal Town of Sutton Coldfield, Councillor Nitish Raut, for selection of the winners.
Competition Results (18 Years and Over Category)
Reflecting on the entries and the winning photograph, the Mayor of the Royal Town of Sutton Coldfield, Councillor Nitish Raut, said:
“It has been a privilege to review the shortlist for this year’s Soul of Sutton Photography Competition. The theme of ‘home’ is a personal one, and it was wonderful to see how thoughtfully our residents captured what the Royal Town means to them.
“I want to thank everyone who took the time to participate and share their unique perspective of our town.”
The winning entries are published in this article and shared across our official social media channels on Facebook, Instagram, X, and LinkedIn.
Residents can also look forward to seeing the winning photographs featured in print in the upcoming Autumn edition of the Town Council’s printed newsletter, which will be delivered directly to households across the Royal Town in November.
The Town Council would like to thank everyone who entered this year’s competition, and looks forward to welcoming even more entries when the Soul of Sutton Photography Competition returns in 2027.
