Bhupinder and Harpreet Chana have purchased Walmley Dental Practice after its previous owners retired following 25 years of ownership.
Harpreet has worked at the practice since 2015, when she joined as a foundation dentist.
Bhupinder (pictured) has also worked in dentistry for nine years as a general dentist, and brings vast experience and knowledge.
The practice has four surgeries and offers a broad range of services, including general dentistry and specialist orthodontic treatments, and employs sixteen members of staff.
Bhupinder and Harpreet plan to use their expertise to grow the business, which will include increasing their provision of orthodontic treatments.
Harpreet will also take on the role of sole educational supervisor for the practice’s trainee dentists as they look to foster the next generation of talented local dentists.
Harpreet Chana, partner at Walmley Dental Practice, said: “I’ve loved working at Walmley Dental for the past seven years and it is a privilege to have the opportunity to buy the business.
“I want to make sure we keep the family values instilled by the previous owners while looking at how we can grow the business further.”
The Lloyds Bank team has also supported the business through its Cardnet service, which will enable it to accept payments quickly and more securely.
Harpreet added: “All the support we’ve received from the Lloyds Bank team throughout has been vital to getting this deal over the line, not just in terms of lending but also their guidance and wider support with things like Cardnet.
“It’s reassuring to know they’ll be by our side on this next part of our journey.”
