Bishop Vesey’s Grammar School is holding its fourth annual jobs and careers fair on Friday 7 February.

The event aims to attract more than 60 of the UK’s top employers – many of whom are Chamber members.

It runs from 9am and 12pm.

The event is open to all current students and recent leavers, providing them with an opportunity to connect with employers to discuss internships, work placements, apprenticeships and graduate jobs.

The career seminars will involve panels of three to four people across a variety of industries talking about their experiences.

Millennium Point, WSP, Ocado, Deutsche Bank, ARUP, Birmingham City University and LMJV are among the firms taking part.

Headteacher Dominic Robson said: “We always strive to educate our young people about the sheer variety of career options available to them after they leave us at BVGS.

“Increasing numbers of students are considering options other than the traditional university route, and we are keen to support them in this exploration.”
