The workshop called Setting Yourself Up for Sustainable Success in 2026 will help build strategies that are sustainable without hitting burnout.

The planning workshop will take place on Wednesday 21 January at The Deer Park, Hoar Cross, near Burton-upon-Trent.

The workshop hosted by Nicola Forsyth, coach and PR and communications consultant, the workshop will guide business owners through practical mindset and strategy sessions.

A three-time business owner with 20 years’ experience in the corporate world — including supporting UK businesses at HSBC - Nicola created the workshop to help business owners start, scale or simply work smarter.

The half-day workshop will focus on:

  • clarifying direction so efforts are focused
  • identifying what’s really holding business owners back
  • strengthening market positioning, narrative and messaging
  • building healthier ways of working that support work–life balance and prevent burnout

Nicola Forsyth, director, Nicola Kathryn Coaching, said: “Running a business can be immensely rewarding, but it also brings unique pressures. Over time, many owners find themselves constantly busy without real clarity on direction or strategy.

“This workshop creates space to step back, regain perspective and set realistic objectives with confidence. It’s not about resolutions that fade — it’s about building lasting momentum, both personally and professionally.”

During the four-hour workshop, attendees will explore how to challenge limiting beliefs and adopt an ownership mindset, reconnect with their ‘why’ and set meaningful objectives, feel confident about how they show up in their market and create a healthier working environment that supports productivity without burnout

Participants will also enjoy a relaxed breakfast on arrival, with time to connect with like-minded business owners.
