Bishop Vesey’s Grammar School hosted its eighth annual golf day - inviting guests to enjoy a day of friendly competition, fun and networking.
The event – hosted at Great Barr Golf Club - was again supported by X2 Workspaces, who have sponsored the golf day since its inception.
More than 60 golfers participated in the tournament which involved a shotgun start and was followed by a dinner and prize-giving ceremony.
Moor Hall Misfits claimed victory with a score of 93, taking home gift vouchers and the Vesey Claret Jug.
The were also a host of other competitions during the day including Longest Drive, Closest to the Pin and Challenge the Student.
Graham Swindells, finance and operations director, said: “The Annual Golf Day has become an important event in the school calendar the event gives the opportunity for a wide range of stakeholders to participate in an enjoyable and relaxing day whilst giving the opportunity to network and develop new friendships.
“The excellent course and welcoming facilities of Great Barr Golf Club were the perfect setting for this event.
“We would like to thank everyone that has supported and attended this event especially those partners of the school that have been able to offer sponsorships and donations to make it such a success and we look forward to hosting our ninth annual golf day in June 2024, which we are confident will be another very enjoyable day.”
