Local volunteer group 'CPR Counts' held their 15th Basic Life Support Course, on 17th July, at St Peter's Church Hall, Maney. Topics covered in the two hours were, in both theory and practice, how to deal with Heart Attacks, Cardiac Arrest, Choking and use of Defibrillators.   Photos and videos of the event can be seen at: 17th July 2019   A full house of participants were both taught and entertained by Mike Bennett who is the Lead Resuscitation Officer for Birmingham Community Healthcare NHS Foundation Trust.   All of CPR Counts courses are free of charge to participants and are regularly held in Sutton Coldfield. Their next courses will be in October and application forms can be found by clicking here: CPR Counts Courses   You can find our much more about the good work they are doing, and why, on their website: https://www.cprcounts.com   Remember,
It's far better to know CPR and not need it than to need it but not know it!
