Leading hospitality and retail POS (point-of-sale) provider, WRS, has announced further growth with new team members, product developments and an expanding client list.
The company has welcomed additions to its marketing, support team, installations and hr departments, while also appointing Ben Jukes as sales team manager, bringing with him almost 15 years’ experience in the POS industry.
Becky Winter has also joined the client relations team from one of the UK’s leading seaside restaurants, where she was assistant general manager.
The WRS head count now stands at 70.
WRS continues to support its existing client base while taking on new brands.
Its Midlands clients include Big John’s, Centenary Lounge, Burger Boi, Liquor Lab and Fairlawns Hotel & Spa – along with more than 2,500 Costa Coffee sites across the UK.
A key growth area has been self-service kiosks, which are reshaping the quick-service restaurant (QSR) experience.
The kiosks enable customers to place orders directly, helping venues reduce queues and improve order accuracy, while often benefiting from an increase in ATV (average transaction values).
Recent product updates include allergen display functionality on both POS and kiosk platforms.
The feature allows venues to show accurate allergen information on product pages, meeting legal requirements and improving access to key information for customers.
WRS chief operations officer, Sophie Jackson, said: “We’re proud of the progress we’ve made over the past year — not just in welcoming new clients, but in continuing to innovate and provide the best possible support.
“Expanding our team ensures we can maintain the high standards our clients expect while developing new solutions that keep WRS at the forefront of hospitality technology.”
Head of business development, Jamie White, added: “With exciting new projects in the pipeline and continued investment in our team and our solutions, WRS is aiming for further growth in the year ahead, working with operators of all sizes to deliver effective POS solutions.”
