A Sutton Coldfield volunteer group is offering free classes that could help save lives.

CPR Counts are providing basic CPR classes, led by Mike Bennett, the lead resuscitation officer for Birmingham Community Healthcare NHS Foundation Trust.

The group was founded by Malcolm Robinson, after he suffered a cardiac arrest in 2017.

Fortunately, a passer-by saved Malcolm’s life by preforming CPR on him until the ambulance arrived.

Malcolm and his team organise free invaluable life-saving classes for the public, in and around Sutton Coldfield.

The classes cover recovery position, chest compressions, mouth to mouth, choking and how to use a defibrillator.

The classes last two hours and are relaxed fun and interactive.

Taylor Herrick Recruitment have sponsored an awareness video for CPR Counts, which was produced by Chamber members Ark Media.
