Led by SE Fitness Running & Walking Club, the Sutton Santa Run will return to Sutton Park Town Gate on Sunday 6 December at 10am, with hundreds of runners expected to take part in the festive 5K.

The event is particularly significant for Acacia Family Support, which has been named the Royal Sutton Coldfield Chamber of Commerce’s charity of the year for 2026-28.

Now in its third year, the event is raising funds for Acacia Family Support and Our Place Support, two local charities supporting the mental health and wellbeing of families and individuals across the community.

Last year’s event raised almost £6,000 for the two charities, and organisers are hoping to build on that success this year with the support of Sutton Coldfield’s business community.

Sponsorship opportunities start from just £100.

Businesses can also bring along their teams and colleagues to take part in the event and show their support on the day.

Kate Davarzadeh, community fundraising manager at Acacia Family Support, said: “We’ve already had some fantastic support for this year’s Sutton Santa Run, but we’d love to see even more local businesses get behind it.

“This is about much more than putting your logo on an event.

“It’s a brilliant opportunity to come together as a local business community, have some festive fun and make a real difference to two local charities.

“Sponsorship starts from just £100, so there are opportunities for businesses of all sizes to get involved.

“We’d love to hear from any business that wants to be part of making this year’s event the biggest yet.”
