Two charitable organisations will be discussing how the sector is responding to the ongoing coronavirus crisis, during an upcoming Chamber webinar.

Lichfield and Tamworth Chamber of Commerce, alongside Sutton Coldfield Chamber of Commerce, will be hosting an online event, exploring the impacts of the crisis on the charity sector, on 27 May.

Representatives from St Giles Hospice and YMCA Sutton Coldfield will be taking part in the discussion.

Emma Hodges (pictured) chief executive of St Giles Hospice, will be discussing how the hospice provides care to those at the end of their lives.

She joined the hospice from University Hospital North Staffordshire, where she was assistant director of Human Resources responsible for workforce design, education and transformation.

Emma led on a number of workforce change and education projects. She has also worked in the private sector and undertaken consultancy assignments for a social enterprise in the housing sector.

YMCA Sutton Coldfield is a self-funded children’s charity providing support, respite and safe spaces for the most vulnerable and disadvantaged young people in Sutton Coldfield.
