From the vast landscape of Sutton Park National Nature Reserve to our hidden neighbourhood gems, local nature reserves, and community allotments, these are the ultimate natural prescription for our health and wellbeing, supporting nature, and bringing our communities together every day.
Whether you’re clearing your head on a quiet woodland walk, chasing the kids around the playground, or keeping active with grassroots sports, our parks give us all a vital space to breathe, move, and connect.
None of this would be possible without our incredible ‘Friends of’ volunteer groups. They are the true backbone of our green spaces, dedicating thousands of hours to maintaining paths, planting, running litter picks, organising bat walks, educational events, and securing funding to keep these spaces thriving for everyone. You are the true heroes of our green spaces.
Head to your nearest park, check out a local event, and give a huge thank-you to the volunteers who keep our town beautiful and thriving.
