Chris Eigelaar, general manager at The Belfry Hotel & Resort, said: “We are thrilled to be able to reopen more areas of the resort. The safety of our guests and our team is our number one priority, so we have been working hard behind the scenes to ensure we exceed all safety protocols in every area of the resort.

“We have implemented a number of new technologies to ensure our guests feel safe while visiting us. For example, we have introduced 'Aera Max IV' , a clean air solution, in the cycling studios in the gym to ensure a steady flow of clean air, and in the spa we will have additional enhanced cleaning regimes in place throughout the day with areas also being sanitised weekly using an electrostatic gun. We are very excited to welcome our guests back whether they are visiting to use our state-of-the-art gym equipment for a workout or for a well-deserved relaxing spa experience.”

New safety measures within the spa include guests completing a Covid-19 health check and having their temperate taken on arrival, distancing measures introduced in appropriate areas including the pool and spa reception, to increased time between treatments to allow for deep cleaning and guests receiving a warm hand mitt, which includes hand sanitiser, on arrival.
