1st March 2023

A feast of local musical talent takes place at The St Mary's Hub in Lichfield on Saturday 11th March.

For the main course Raymond Shaw will be performing his debut album to support the upcoming debut LP 'Back On Nights'.  With inspiration taken from folk/country/rock, the album explores the realms of loneliness, depression, alcoholism and loss.

The band who played on the album, Toby Wilson, Patrick Merry, Jake Clarke and Christie Reeves, have kindly agreed to perform alongside Raymond for the occasion.

Douglas Armour (Lichfield After Dark on Instagram) was the photographer behind the album's front and back cover.

John Careless, a local artist from Sutton Coldfield, provided the paintings you see on the inside of the album and throughout the accompanying lyric booklet.

Supporting Raymond on the night will be Tim Philpot, a Sutton Coldfield singer-guitarist with a strong pedigree in songwriting and impressive guitar style, and Christie Reeves, a local folk artist with great songs and an amazing voice.
