Creatives Against Discrimination 2026 is a national campaign that’s all about using creativity to bring people together and challenge discrimination in all its forms.  

The idea ties in with World Inclusion Day, which takes place every year on 10 October. It’s a global day that celebrates belonging, equality, and accessibility for everyone — regardless of background, ability, gender, faith or sexuality.  

"Right now, World Inclusion Day isn’t officially recognised in the UK — but we want to change that" explained actor and musician Luke Dalton on The Ian Henery Show on Black Country Xtra, regulated by OFCOM and part of Black Country Radio.    

"We want to make inclusion visible — through music, film, design, and storytelling. It’s about showing that creativity thrives when everyone has a voice and a place at the table.   But this isn’t just about one day. It’s about building momentum — encouraging schools, workplaces, and communities to think about inclusion every day of the year.   Our bigger goal is to see World Inclusion Day officially recognised by Parliament, and for the UK to lead globally in celebrating equality and unity."  

Luke Dalton recently performed at two SOLD OUT shows in  Birmingham, funded by Arts Council England, at the Birmingham Exhibition and Conference Centre for the Chinese Mid Autumn Festival.  He then went on to perform in a third show at the Ming Moon Restaurant in the Chinese Quarter of Birmingham for the Birmingham Chinatown Business Association in a play that was directed by award winning playwright Ranjit Khutan.    

At the weekend he went on to perform in ANOTHER two sold out plays in Stourbridge with Action Community Theatre.  He regularly performs at The People`s Platform with Matthew Davies, Adrian Hill, Arthur Wilkes, Lee Benson   and Katie Victoria and this weekend he will be supporting  Black Country Stand Up To Racism in Cannock.    

"So, we’re inviting creatives, organisations, and communities across the country to get involved" explained Luke.   "Whether that’s hosting a local event, creating an artwork, or simply sharing the message online with the hashtag #CreativesAgainstDiscrimination — every voice helps.   Because when we celebrate inclusion, we celebrate everyone."
