It was a day of celebration across the Arthur Terry Learning Partnership (ATLP) for students whose dedication, commitment and talent were recognised on GCSE results day.
Pride filled the air as Year 11 students from ATLP’s Arthur Terry School, Stockland Green School, The Royal Sutton School, The Coleshill School, Nether Stowe School, The Bridge Academy and West Coventry Academy received their GCSE and vocational qualifications today.
Students collecting their results were met by senior leaders from the schools who provided continued support and words of wisdom as the Year 11s now prepare for the next chapters in their lives.
Deirdre Duignan, ATLP’s director of education, said: “Our Year 11 students have shown great commitment to their learning and it has been a privilege to see their hard work rewarded today.
“As a learning family, we strive to create the best environment for our young people and today’s results show the impact of those efforts - opening doors to further education and future careers.
“Thank you to our students, teachers, staff, parents and carers for everything you have contributed to this success.”
ATLP CEO Richard Gill CBE said: “On the back of our recent Student Awards, today provides another opportunity to celebrate the tremendous achievements of an exceptional year group. I have seen first-hand how our Year 11 students have gone above and beyond to reach their full potential.
“At the ATLP, we place a great importance on ensuring that the students who enjoy our care become the best versions of themselves both inside and outside the classroom - and I have no doubt that our Year 11s are going to continue to make highly impactful contributions to society.
“Thank you to our Year 11 students for their efforts in being fantastic role models to our younger children. We are excited to see that many will be continuing their journeys with us in our sixth forms in September and, to those leaving us to continue their studies or begin work, we wish you every success and happiness.”
