Cookes Furniture’s 70-strong team are set to take part and support the Royal Sutton Fun Run, as the event marks its 40th anniversary .
The 8.5 mile challenge takes place on Sunday 29 May and will welcome people of all ages and abilities to take part.
Cookes are a main commercial partner of the event and sponsors of the commemorative medals to be awarded to participants.
The route starts and finishes in Sutton Coldfield town centre and passes through scenic parts of the town including Sutton Park and Keepers Pool.
James Pike, managing director at Cookes Furniture, said: “The Cookes team will be cheering on the participants as they come back into the Royal Sutton Town Centre, with our medal team ready to celebrate with the finishers as they walk, jog or run across the finish line, of the challenging 8.5 mile course.
“We are always so proud to support our community with this wonderful event and importantly help in raising thousands of pounds for local charities and good causes.”
The annual event sees entrants raise money to support to charities and voluntary organisations across the West Midlands.
Since the first event began in 1982, over £4.83million has been distributed to charities and voluntary organisations.
