We have used Franklins twice recently, first to return from France and yesterday to move locally. On both occasions they have been truly superb. Costs have been competitive and clear. Communications have been friendly, prompt and helpful.
High standards set from the top have also been seen in the actual removers who have been efficient, careful and reliable. On the basis of our experience, I could not recommend Franklin's more highly.

Franklins is a family run business and as such care about their product. We are not just a number (or address) to them, we are their customers and this really shows from the initial contact, to their excellent communications all the way through to the fantastic chaps, Simon and Kieran who turned up to do the job. To say that the property in France was difficult to access was an understatement and despite that they managed with great skill. They then loaded and unloaded with meticulous efficiency and consummate care . Excellent work - top class and 5 star!

Franklins Removals moved everything of our 3 bed house from UK to southern France (June 2020). Pick-up was punctual at 8am and next day at 6pm all our stuff was safely unloaded 1200km more south. Drivers kept us updated about their journey. We asked quotes from several companies and Franklins service/price ratio was best. Can only recommend them.

Thanks to Simon, Pete, Dean and Kieran. Our move was text book, everything went to plan and at the end of a long day the lads left us feeling happy in our new home. Whilst it was another day in the office for Franklins, we were apprehensive about the move but thanks to their professional and nothing was a problem approach, all went well on the day. No damage to either house and there were some REALLY heavy items moved. We threw in a curved ball and asked for some items to go into their storage, but again, no problems and no need to worry - thanks Ben. Thanks again, we will be recommending you to our friends. A great service - the transport of our furniture from France to UK was carried out very professionally. Simon, Pete and Lee were fantastic - they were very careful with everything and so efficient. They could not have done more - we were very impressed by them. The lorry was loaded the French end quickly and methodically and brought over to the UK and unloaded in the same way. Really helpful, knowledgeable people. Thank you Franklins and in particular Simon, Pete and Lee for all your help.

Pete and Kieran collected the contents of our house in Provence, dividing the contents into two deliveries all from a list of contents and Watsapp video calls with me, as I was unable to travel to the house. They arrived at the house at 7.30am, worked into the night, packing and loading a five bedroom house in one day. Two more charming, helpful and cheery guys it would be hard to find. I would recommend Franklins without hesitation, they are everything that I hoped they would be when I saw they were a family owned company with great reviews. Thank you all for making a big international move totally stress free.

We had three great lads recently move us from our much loved home. Simon, Fraser and Tom. They made the day so much easier and reduced stress where they could. We booked Franklins Removals on the basis of their excellent Google reviews and these reviews speak the truth! Moving our entire lives to France between lockdowns could have been a very stressful experience, but as soon as Lee and Pete arrived - bang on time - we instantly relaxed. They were nothing short of amazing. They were reassuring, friendly , nothing was too complicated - ours was a difficult, heavy move - and their teamwork was inspirational. We highly recommend Franklins services - AND their prices are good too. Keep these lovely guys going all day on coffees with milk and one sugar, and moving house is suddenly no longer the trauma we all expect it to be!

Our move was very local and it was professionally and extremely well handled by Franklins over three days. Many companies were unwilling to visit us for a quote but Ben Franklin carried out this task quickly and efficiently, complying with present COVID protocols. All members of the removal team were cheerful and willing in spite of late access to our new property. Specifically we appreciated help from Sean and Dean.

After obtaining several quotes for our move from the UK to France, we chose Franklins Removals and boy are we glad that we did. We required a full packing, removal/storage and relocation option. Quotes from various competitors ranged from the sublime to the ridiculous. We opted for Franklins because we were impressed with their efficiency, excellent communication, experience and pricing structure which was transparent. We also wanted our belongings stored safely in the UK for a number of months before being delivered to us in France. Ben Franklin was our contact throughout and a more helpful individual you couldn’t wish to find. The teams that packed/stored and finally delivered our belongings to our new home in France were superb - friendly, careful, cheerful and above all professional. Nothing was damaged either in packing our belongings or in their delivery. Everyone we dealt with from Franklins have been amazing and we couldn’t be happier with our choice. For various reasons, ours was a difficult move from our house in SE France back to the UK, and not just because of the pandemic. From the outset Franklyns were a brilliant company to deal with. Ben was efficient and reassuring, and kept in touch every step of the way. The team on the lorry, Stu and Lee could not have been more helpful. They called me on arrival at the house and double checked with me before they left to come home. On their arrival back in the UK, it was lovely to put faces to voices, and Stu and Lee had both done a superb job of packing up our belongings and treating them with care. I cannot recommend Franklyns highly enough, if you need anything moved from Europe I suggest you give Ben a call ... Thank you so much Team Franklyns from a very happy and relieved Fleming family!

Right from the start of finding a removal company to move us to France I knew we where onto a winner with Franklins. Ben was incredibly helpful in the middle of the pandemic. Where ever you are moving to do not hesitate to use Franklins they are professional removers and understand that is is also a very hard time for all. All of Bens team are great and we had a great packing day and removal day. Fast and efficient and what we really liked was that they all seemed to care about our belongings. The Lorry arrived 3 days later in France and unpacking went really well especially as we had a lot of stuff to go upstairs and through windows. Everyone worked so hard and even though it took us all day it went without a hitch and everything made it to France in one piece. I would like to thank the Guys by name that got us here, So thank you to Gary, Shaun, Dean, Lee, Pete, and Kieran. if I have forgotten anyone please know that we are most grateful to you all.

I needed a 3 seater Chesterfield settee moving from my lounge to my garage in preparation for delivery of a new one. Bring a pensioner, I couldn’t do this on my own and as I’d had a new porch door fitted since the old one was delivered, I realised I would need a removal expert.I phoned in the morning and was quoted a fair price. As their van was in the area, they said they’d come later the same day...there would be no charge if they couldn’t do it and they would advise on what to do...remove the door, a window pane or whatever. They arrived as promised and had it moved in 5 minutes....but it wasn’t straightforward. Very courteous men...as this happened during Covid they used hand gel I leave for visitors without being asked to do so. Would definitely use them again and can highly recommend them.
