Friendly, professional greeting from receptionist in a welcoming area - seen on time by Laura who fulfilled the hope I had of finding someone who could help solve my hearing problems.
She understood , discussed my situation thoroughly and came up with options, one of which I have gone forward with. The follow up service she offers is so appreciated and I feel content that I can depend on her and her staff to deal with any worries I have with my hearing henceforth.

It was a delight to be seen by Laura who patiently explained the process to examine my ears and clear them of excess wax. Then conduct a thorough hearing examination. I have tried Audiologists elsewhere but this was by far the best and most professional experience.

When my hearing deteriorated again, due to Meniere’s, I decided to try an independent audiologist rather than the High St name I’d previously used. The difference in care, understanding and knowledge was an eye opener! Laura has been so patient dealing with my fluctuating hearing and understood when I was trying to explain the odd experiences was having during my trials with various aids. Would thoroughly recommend Cathedral Hearing for 5 star care.

Like many others, after years of encouragement from my family, I finally addressed my hearing. I went to Boots and Specsavers and they confirmed I listened too much loud music over the years. Tried a few on as I was initially been concerned about how hearing aids might look. Now this the important bit. In reality, appearance was not the issue at all the real challenge was adapting to wearing them, which took time and patience and was something I had not fully expected.
This is exactly what Cathedral Hearing offer which the others don’t.
Laura was exceptional throughout, working patiently over a two month period to fine tune both the setup and the hardware itself until everything felt right. Being able to test drive the hearing aids before committing made a huge difference, and the approach of increasing the prescription gradually was sensible and reassuring. It was clear that the focus was on long term comfort and effectiveness, not a quick fix.
The service was calm, personal and highly professional, and far exceeded what I have experienced with larger high street providers such as Boots or Specsavers. I would confidently recommend Cathedral Hearing in Lichfield to anyone looking for high quality, patient focused hearing care.

On my husband’s recommendation I visited Cathedral Hearing and found Laura very welcoming and knowledgable. After carrying out some appropriate tests Laura provided a test pair of hearing aids to try out. My second, scheduled visit gave her the necessary feedback and Laura adapted my test aids to counteract the problem I was experiencing. This was followed by a further visit at which I decided to proceed with my hearing aids on a permanent basis.

I have just been fitted with new hearing aids by Laura. She completely understood my hope to upgrade my old hearing aids, but only if the new ones would make a significant improvement to my hearing. Laura assessed my needs carefully and was able to offer a trial period with the hearing aids that she considered would be most appropriate. She scheduled further appointments to make slight changes in the settings to get the best possible outcome for me. It has been a pleasure to be under Laura’s care and I am confident that I now have the most appropriate hearing aids for my particular hearing loss. I attended Cathedral Hearing for ear wax removal. Laura was very professional, fully explained the procedure and made the whole process very relaxed. The suction process was slightly noisy but not painful in any way. Laura examined my ears with a camera and l was able to see that the wax had been fully removed. No hesitation in returning to Cathedral in the future and highly recommend.
