We decided last minute to try and book this restaurant for lunch. Having never been before we were unsure what to expect. This is definitely fine dining, the food was beautifully presented and the taste was amazing. We opted for three courses at £26.00 per head and I very rarely eat desert but on this occasion could not resist.
My Husband had the rabbit and pistachio terrine and I had the crab croquettes to start, for mains we both went with the beef cheeks and desert was lemon tart with clotted cream and raspberry coulis.
Would definitely highly recommend this restaurant and will be going again soon.

Loved it here, the food and service were second to none, we will definitely be going back the next time we are in the area. We have already recommended The Fox to several Motorhoming and Caravanner friends for when they visit that area.

Visited as a group of 2 couples. Sat outside on the pretty terrace for drinks before going inside for our meal. Restaurant is spacious, clean and well well laid out. Menu was a set meal which had been well thought out by the chef with good options of meat, fish and vegan. We all rated the food delicious and the service excellent. Will definitely visit again.

Food was great, definitely the place to eat, veg all fresh the meat you put your knife to it and didn't have to cut, the starter well you just have to try, I felt I was eating from a first class restaurant AMAZING⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

Visited on the "spur of the moment" very good food wide choice menu changes regularly ( unlike some establishments who have only produced burgers and pizzas since the pandemic and continue to do so) good beers and wines, the beers are from there own brewery so don't expect to see many national or local brewers products easy to book and get a table.

My wife and daughter had an excellent dinner on Friday evening at the Bulmer Fox. We were a little concerned that it would not live up to the excellent food and service the previous owner and his team provided but we were pleasantly surprised. It was if anything… better! Super food served by an attentive young team who catered for all our needs. We were regular visitors before it changed hands and will be returning.

My wife and I had a getar dinner year off the seasonal locally sourced menu board . The fish and chicken choices had so much flavour and were really well cooked . We had 2 and half courses , 4 drinks and it only cost £72.
Well looked after in an unobtrusive way by the waiters who were excellent . Far superior to the meal we had at Alaz a week before . RECOMMENDED.

Just had an excellent meal at the Bulmer Fox. Fantastic service, food great, nothing but praise. I have allergieswhich often make eating out difficult. We had prebooked and upon arrival I was presented with a menu showing me exactly what I could and couldn't eat. I have only experienced this once before so so impressed. Would highly recommend.
