BGL (Business Growth Landscaper) was formed in October 2013 by husband and wife Jacky & Darren Ling, based just on the outskirts of Sudbury, Suffolk.
Together, they have an excess of 55 combined years’ of business development. They have managed and developed sales teams in a diverse cross-section of market sectors. Having both come from a family small business heritage, small business ownership is in their blood and through their many years’ experience, they have learnt from their mistakes as well as sharing and celebrating their successes. Their passion and enthusiasm for helping other small businesses is driven by this experience and they want to share their knowledge to help other small businesses grow.
Jacky cut her teeth in the family business many years ago calling pubs, restaurants, shops and tourists attractions for their chilled and frozen food orders, upselling and cross selling from the wide product range. Since then Jacky has worked in telesales, account management and sales management roles in Finance, Advertising and Online businesses to name a few. For the last 10+ years Jacky’s background has been in the Management Consulting and Professional Training & Coaching Industries and she has a particular passion for the science behind how we learn. Jacky has a creative collaborative style with a focus on helping her clients achieve the success they desire with their businesses whatever that may be.
World class athletes at the top of their game, use a coach to bring out their best, to help them achieve their goals and maintain their winning mindset.
Exactly the same applies to business owners; achieving business success is directly related to personal growth and performance. It’s never been easier to take care of our personal and professional development, however, there will always be times in our business lives when we need the support of a coach.
Finding the right coach
Having a coach doesn’t need to cost a fortune, and working with different coaches at different times is common.
It depends on which area in your business or personal skill set you need support, so a coach with a particular area of expertise could be important.
BGL won't ask you to commit to months of coaching either. Many of their clients get the breakthrough they were after in one session.
It doesn’t need to be face to face either, coaching via face-time or telephone is common now and very effective.
What is important is the chemistry between you and your coach; there needs to be trust and honesty for you to get the results you are after.
BGL is always happy to meet and discuss your needs. This gives you an opportunity to get to know them & to explore if they are a good fit for you.
