Appointment booked by telephone, I had a date in mind and it was accomodated. I requested a “wait” appointment, again all good. On the day I took my car for its MOT at my chosen time, I was greeted warmly at reception and all details of contact checked. I decided to go for a walk rather than sit in the waiting area and was informed I would be called as soon as ready. This call came within the informed time of 40mins. Upon return another of the reception staff dealt with my paperwork and payment which was ready and waiting. Again very courteous. My car was by the office door and everything clean and no greasy smells etc. very pleased as always have been using Tackwood for many years.

I would definitely recommend Tackwood for MOT and servicing. Very friendly, great at communicating and reasonable price wise.
We dropped our Motorhome off early due to being away for a couple of days and they performed our MOT earlier than booked.

Well this was very nice indeed…that by the way is a huge understatement as I have in my 33 years of motoring, NEVER had such exemplary service from any garage such as the one received from the team at Tackwood! The experience from the first call to them to picking up my car was First Class and I wouldn’t change a thing! I booked for a MOT only but asked with only 24 hrs notice if they could also service my car, which although not promised, they did! They kept me updated throughout and provided a brilliant verbal handover at the end! Thank you!!!

Fabulous service as always. Booked in for full service but Darren called to let me know that it wasn’t needed this time and an interim service was sufficient, hence saving money. Thank you. I've had cause to use this garage a few times now and every time I've been impressed with their friendliness, professionalism and the work they've carried out for me. A couple of weeks ago they saved me a few hundred pounds after I booked my car in with them after finding out how much a dealer wanted to charge me for the work it said needed doing. Not only were Tackwood much better value, but after examining the car they told me that the work didn't even need to be done! Now that's what I call first class integrity!
