From Mummers to Maypoles and Military Marching bands to Morris Dancers, Adventure Island is celebrating just what puts the Great into Britain on 20/21 April 2013 with another fun-filled St George’s Weekend.
Summercourt Children’s Centre, in Summercourt Road, Westcliff, received the brilliant result, judging it as outstanding across the board.
Between now and Sunday 31st March, Southend primary school children can, for just £1, take part in a child’s swim or sway dance session (different types of dance classes) at Southend’s Leisure Centres, and their school could win £1,000 worth of sports equipment too!
Adventure Island opens for 2013 this weekend (16 February), and in response to public demand the hugely popular attraction on Southend seafront is launching an Annual Pass for the first time in its history.
