We visited on the 1940's weekend which was superb. However we found so many heritage crafts : Vicorian spinning and weaving, buttermaking, heavy horse work and things to see in the garden, interaction with the regular cosutumed staff/volunteers, and all the farm animals that we are going to go back soon and getting a season ticket next year. Our lunch at the new tea room which is run by the new catering company was excellent.

We visited on a very hot day so didn't make the most of what was on offer, nor did we pay to see the exhibition.
However, there was a nice little cafe where we had a good lunch and a lovely selection of local art and craft items available to buy. I bought a beautiful and unusual felted picture.
