I was finding it difficult to get satisfactory insurance for a house I inherited following my mother's death - companies are loathe to insure empty houses, and those that do make it difficult to reclaim 'unused' premiums if you manage to sell the property.
I explained the circumstances to the extremely helpful Ruby Wyness, who was able to find a reasonably priced policy with decent T&Cs. It was a pleasure to be able to speak to someone who understood the problem and was able to find a solution, as opposed to an online robot. Very impressed.
