From the moment I spoke to the Tooting branch manager I felt I could trust them.
I searched for a suitable car for three months. Quotes given for each one. Nothing was too much trouble for Peter and Bobby who actually dealt with my replacement car. Many thanks to Daniel Knight who followed up my initial enquiry out of hours!

I found the process of switching insurance to Howdens very easy, informative and not in the least pushy, and the premium was good. Very friendly agent.
One small issue followed. I had explained that I had one claim in 45 years of driving and that was a pigeon flying in to a very expensive headlamp in 2023. After setting everything up and paying the premium I got a call a couple of days later saying that I had not declared it and therefor the premium would be higher. I was a bit annoyed by this and insisted that I had declared it. The agent listened to a recording of the initial call and called me back to say he had heard me giving that information. The policy was amended to reflect this and as a gesture of goodwill the additional premium was waived. All dealt with in a friendly and professional way.
