Has potential to develop, a pleasant site on a fine day. A ‘treasure hunt’ is advertised for younger children, finding 8 letters by yellow ‘animals’ to form a word. We had 2 VERY disappointed children aged 5 and 7 to find that the prize was a sticker the size of a postage stamp. I would suggest maybe a pencil or similar would be kinder.

Great to visit, friendly staff and volunteers, very interesting to see the old machinery and live demonstrations. The food at the café was excellent and the prices were too. The kids loved it, we'll be back again.
