Really enjoyable day. The farm alone is great with stunning scenery. It was the set of Victorian Farm series.
The 1940s day was an added bonus, my kids loved it with an id card, check points and real life school books and evacuees stories.

I work at the farm as a volunteer, and would like to praise the cafe there, which is under separate management and really an attraction in itself. The farm volunteers use it a lot. Over the weekend of 1-2 August we held a 1940s 'Wartime Farm' event and the cafe put a couple of wartime dishes on the menu. The one I had (the spam fritters) was excellent. Other colleagues praised the corned beef hash. The staff coped wonderfully with an unprecedented number of visitors, but despite the unusual delays caused by the popularity of the event, they remained cheerful, friendly and professional throughout, serving up unheard-of numbers of meals and drinks , cake and afternoon teas throughout a very busy day to a customary high standard.

I can highly recommend Esthetique Dental. The practitioners are all really professional and lovely people. The ways of working are right up to date and the place is homely and the atmosphere very friendly. Today I saw Callum my dentist and Libby the hygienist. They listened to me and were able to start treatment straight away. I was very impressed with the 3D scan which will create my 3D printed false teeth. I am looking forward to smiling with confidence again!

We visited during the 1940s weekend and thoroughly enjoyed learning about life in the military and on the farm during WWII. The demonstrations were interesting and engaging and the farm itself is very child friendly. Our toddler loved the activities and seeing the vehicles and animals.
