This is a great day out. Staff are friendly, informative, and inspirational. If you have an interest in history, rural matters and/or Shropshire, I would recommend a visit. There’s also a cafe selling fabulous bakes!

Really high quality, authentic experience at Acton Scott, which we'd heard so much about. All the activities were appropriate and well delivered, with the in-character staff both knowledgeable and friendly. The scenery provides the perfect backdrop for timeless reenactment of historic pastimes, which were also fun to get up close to and try first hand. Cafe is superb and would be great to visit again even without rentering the farm. Don't forget to call in at hatton farm just up the road for fresh organic milk from their vending machine too!

Lovely heritage farm. The Shire Horses are so handsome and we got to watch Edward have new shoes fitted as well as a harness demonstration. Wonderful day out young or old.

We had a wonderful day at Acton Scott farm!My 2 granddaughters loved seeing Edward the shire horse and as we all gathered around to see him being tacked up, he ‘passed’ an enormous amount of wind which ALL the children and adults enjoyed enormously! We managed to get Dulcie the HUGE pig to come out of her sty by throwing her a large apple. She was amazing and very funny. Wonderful also to be able to tell the grandchildren that all the farming equipment that we saw would have been used by their great, great poppa a few miles down the road in Tenbury Wells. Nice lunch- cafe a bit overwhelmed. Great day.
