One of the most positive retail experiences I've ever had, at every step of a special order. The customer service is unbeatable. Though the pen itself was modestly (and competitively) priced, they did everything possible to ensure the order was more than satisfactorily fulfilled. They are one of a very small number of UK stockists of a particular brand of fountain pen, and they ordered a particular pen from the manufacturer specially at my request, as well as supplying the pen in a nib colour not offered by the manufacturer by default.
The manufacturer dispatched it slightly slower than expected, and Write Here kept me updated all along the way. In each instance, their replies were helpful and incredibly prompt - same day, sometimes within the hour, a very high bar indeed. When the pen arrived, there was a minor issue affecting the nib. As the pen was otherwise in full working order and I have other suitable nibs, I decided to hang onto it and inked the pen, already satisfied with my purchase. I let them know about the issue more as an FYI e.g. suppliers' QC, directly advising I was already happy with the order and considered it concluded. However, they wrote back suggesting a superlative solution, which they effected same-day - at this point I really was bowled over.
Again, my order was really quite modest - more than anything, they gave the impression of really caring about their business and what they sell. My thanks in particular to Brad.

I was able to get through to an agent straight away. Talk to a British lady I could understand (I am no predudist in any way) but rare with insurance firms. She found me travel insurance cheaper than the renewal quote I had with my previous firm.
