I first tried Howdens (when they were A-Plan) a few years back. Although their customer service was excellent at the time, they couldn't quite beat the rest of the market due to my vehicle being rather niche.
However, last year, Chris Bumpus from the Loughborough branch offered to run a check for me. Not only did he manage to beat my best quote significantly, but he also secured me a much better policy.
Fast forward to this year, Chris proactively got in touch again and delivered another excellent price. I am absolutely over the moon with the level of service he provides. He is incredibly hard-working, always upfront, honest, and thoroughly amenable. In fact, I was so impressed with his approach that I ended up buying a second policy through him this year.
If you want an insurance broker who genuinely works hard for you, ask for Chris at the Loughborough branch. Highly recommended!

I can't recommend Howdens insurance in Tooting branch highway enough. I have dealt with this company for years to insure my car and house insurance. I renewed my house and contents insurance through Catherine Smith at the Tooting branch. She got me a great renewal quote. She is very knowledgeable and very professional. What made my experience a good experience was the follow-up call I received from Mr Daniel Knight.
I was given a quote which I failed to follow up on; time was getting closer to my expiry date, and I knew it would take a long time to sit and engage.
My follow-up call was very calm, reassuring and comfortable; he gave me time to find a pen and paper and settle before proceeding with all the important information.
