The Whitchurch Food & Drink Festival returns on Saturday 16 May 2026, bringing a full day of fantastic food, drink and entertainment to Jubilee Park.
Running from 10am to 6pm, this popular community event celebrates the best of the region’s food and drink scene, with artisan producers, street food traders, bars, chef demonstrations and live music all coming together in the heart of Whitchurch. Best of all, entry is completely free.
Visitors can enjoy live performances throughout the day on the Barti Rum Bandstand Stage, with entertainment from acts including Whitchurch Brass Band, Twisted Halo, Groove Dynamite and Dirty Rockin’ Scoundrels. The festival will also feature chef demonstrations from well-known local names including Stuart Collins from Docket Restaurant and James Sherwin of Wild Shropshire.
Families are well catered for too, with a dedicated children’s area featuring free activities including inflatables, obstacle courses, circus skills, alpacas and sports activities. Alongside the food and entertainment, visitors can browse stands from local businesses and explore hands-on sustainability and gardening activities from community organisations.
Whether you’re looking to sample local flavours, enjoy live music in the sunshine or simply spend time with friends and family, the Whitchurch Food & Drink Festival promises a fantastic free day out for all ages.
