Do you have broken or non-working items at home? Do you have clothes or textiles in need of sewing? If so, bring them along to the Shrewsbury Repair Cafe and see what can be fixed for you. You can bring electrical items, tools, ornaments, toys, laptops, mechanical items, clocks, clothes and textiles, and the team of volunteer repairers will try to repair them for you.
Based in St. Nicholas Hall of the Shrewsbury United Reformed Church, refreshments are served all through the session. There is full disabled access and a hearing loop available. Even if you haven't got anything to repair, just come along and enjoy the atmosphere and cake.
All repairs are conducted for free, but donations towards operational costs are welcome.
