Shrewsbury will come alive with the sounds of Gypsy jazz and swing when Shrewsbury Django Fest returns for three days of outstanding live music.

Taking place from Friday 23rd to Sunday 25th October 2026, the festival will welcome leading musicians from the UK and overseas for a celebration inspired by the music and legacy of legendary guitarist Django Reinhardt.

The 2026 line-up includes Paulus Schäfer, Olli Soikkeli, the Mozes Rosenberg Trio, Marion & Sobo Band, and John Wheatcroft with Olivia Frances Brown, bringing an impressive mix of international and home-grown talent to Shrewsbury.

Alongside the main performances, audiences can expect daytime and late-night jam sessions, creating opportunities to enjoy spontaneous performances and experience the sociable atmosphere that makes this style of music so special.

The main venue is St Mary's Church, with festival activity taking place across the weekend.
