The atmosphere builds throughout the evening, culminating in the switch-on at 6:30pm when Shrewsbury Council officially illuminates the Christmas lights and kicks off the countdown to Christmas.

  • Wyle Cop (uphill), High Street, and Princess Street: Closed 4:30pm-7:30pm
  • Parking bays on High Street, Mardol Head, and Shoplatch: Suspended 3pm-8pm
