Based on the beloved children’s story by Julia Donaldson and Axel Scheffler, this interactive family trail brings the much-loved book to life with woodland magic and outdoor fun.
The Room on the Broom trail offers a spellbinding outdoor experience suitable for families with children. As you make your way around the woodland trail, visitors are invited to help Witch find her lost hat, bow and wand, and collect special ingredients needed to complete her spell. Along the route, there are themed activities, fascinating forest facts and opportunities for hands-on fun among the trees.
Often peppered with interactive stops, the trail also includes chances for families to snap photos with Witch and her animal friends on their magnificent broom at the end of the adventure.
To enhance the experience, visitors can purchase a Room on the Broom trail pack for around £4. Packs include:
A colour-in kraft bag and pencil
A themed lanyard to wear
Ingredient stickers and spell cards
A craft card to create your own witchy wand
These items help bring the adventure to life for young explorers and add extra magic to the journey.
