Organised by the Friends of Myddle Primary School PTA, a registered charity, the event raises funds to support projects for the school’s children.
The day features a multi-terrain 10K and 5K, as well as a new 1-mile Colour Run. Both the 10K and 5K start and finish at Myddle Primary School, following circular routes through farmland, quiet lanes and woodland, with undulating terrain and scenic views towards the Shropshire Hills and Breidden range.
The Colour Run offers a more relaxed, fun experience, following a shorter out-and-back route near the school. Runners will pass fields with alpacas, horses and cows, as well as Myddle’s historic ‘castle’. White T-shirts are encouraged—though they likely won’t stay that way for long.
All races are fully marshalled, with a group warm-up before the start and refreshments available afterwards. The event is open to all abilities, whether you’re taking part or coming along to support.
