Families and young people are invited to enjoy a fun and informative afternoon at the Meole & South Shrewsbury Fun Event, taking place at the Mary Webb Recreation Area & Pump Track.
Running from 1pm until 4pm on Thursday 27th August, the free community event will focus on physical and mental health and wellbeing, while offering plenty of activities and entertainment to enjoy.
A range of local health, wellbeing and community organisations will be attending throughout the afternoon, giving young people and families the opportunity to find out more about the support and services available locally. Whether you're looking for advice, useful information or simply want to discover what's happening in the community, there will be plenty of people on hand to help.
For those looking for some entertainment, the Gaming Bus will be on site during the afternoon, alongside a variety of activities delivered by Young Shrewsbury, with support from Shropshire Youth.
It's a great opportunity to get out of the house, have some fun, meet others and learn more about services supporting the health and wellbeing of young people and families in the area.
